Resveratrol 99% is a naturally occurring phytoalexin produced by some higher plants in response to injury or fungal infection. Resveratrol may also have alexin-like activity for humans.
Resveratrol is a non-flavonoid polyphenolic compound that is an antitoxin produced by many plants when stimulated.
